Gardens RFC celebrating after winning the 2016 version of the Eastern Cape Super 12
















After an urgent court application from Progress RFC, the high court ruled that the super 12 finals matches scheduled for saturday be postponed and time given to EPRU disciplanry committee to deal with the matter.

Tornament Director, Phumi Hlathi, released the following statement:

“The 2017 EC Super 12 finals matchees scheduled for today is postponed.

Progress RFC approached High court for an urgent application against EC Super 12 steering committee and Gardens, the matter was heard in court at 10am this morning. Court ordered that the finals be postponed today and for EP to convene an enquiries committee to deal with Progress complaint.

Finals will now be played next week on a date and venue to be announced during the course of the week. Organizers apologized to all stakeholders for any inconvenienced caused”.
